Summary
AxiaNET is the trading name for the network and connectivity services of the Axia group. We collect only the personal data we need to deliver, support and bill our services. We don't sell data, we don't share it with advertisers, and we store it in the UK.
Who we are
AxiaNET / Axia Computer Systems Ltd, registered in England, head office in Hertfordshire. For all privacy enquiries: helpdesk@axia.co.uk or 01923 333 111.
What we collect
- Contact details you give us (name, email, phone, company, role).
- Service usage data needed to run your circuits, mailboxes and phone system.
- Billing details — handled through a regulated UK payments provider; we don't store card numbers.
- Support correspondence — emails, tickets and call recordings where you've consented.
- Website analytics — basic, privacy-respecting visit data with no cross-site tracking.
Lawful basis
Most of our processing is necessary to perform the contract we have with you. Where it isn't (for example marketing emails to prospects) we rely on legitimate interest or your explicit consent, and we always give you a clear way to opt out.
How long we keep it
- Live customer data: for as long as we provide services to you.
- Billing and accounting records: 7 years, as required by UK law.
- Support tickets and call recordings: 12 months unless agreed otherwise.
- Prospect contact details: 24 months from last contact unless you ask us to delete sooner.
Sub-processors
We use a small list of reputable sub-processors — for example Microsoft for cloud services where you've explicitly chosen them, and regulated payment processors for billing. A current list is available on request.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these, email helpdesk@axia.co.uk. We respond within 30 days.
Complaints
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
