How does the PSTN switch-off affect me?
Openreach is withdrawing the analogue PSTN and ISDN services by 2027. Any business still on traditional phone lines needs to move to VoIP. We handle the planning, porting and cutover with no downtime.
Can I keep my existing phone numbers?
Yes — porting is free for new AxiaNET VoIP customers. Most ports complete in 10 working days, and we keep the old numbers live in parallel until everything is verified working.
What happens if my internet goes down?
Calls fail over automatically to mobile apps or a designated mobile number. If you also take connectivity from us, we can engineer 4G/5G failover so the desk phones stay up as well.
Will this work with Microsoft Teams?
Yes. We can provide Direct Routing into your Teams tenant so users dial through AxiaNET's carrier voice — usually at a fraction of Microsoft's calling plan cost.
